Responsibilities

Represent Capital’s Institutional Investment Services to large institutional corporate and public defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
Gather information from a variety of sources, synthesize, and present it concisely and compellingly.
Facilitate prospecting for opportunities and maintain those opportunities throughout the institutional sales cycle.
Proactively support early‑stage relationship development within a defined subset of prospects, initiating outreach and building familiarity with Capital Group.
Engage new contacts through targeted outreach, introductory conversations, and follow‑up engagement, aligning closely with Business Development Managers on strategy, messaging, and prioritization.
Collaborate and manage projects, using tools such as Salesforce, and partner with internal resources on reporting, data accuracy, and mass‑automated communications.
Partner with Business Development Managers, Consultant Relationship and Client Service teams, and Internal Sales & Support Coordinators in a sales‑oriented team model.
Operate as second‑in‑command on prospecting efforts, independently advancing defined relationships while partnering with BDMs for strategic direction and later‑stage engagement.
Maintain a pulse on economic market trends, industry developments, and investment expertise to prepare for final meetings and develop relationships with key partners.
Present strategies to clients and prospects, coordinate all sales opportunities, and conduct effective meetings with external and internal contacts when needed.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.
Series7 and 66 license or willingness to obtain them within the first 90 days.
Financial services industry experience highly desired.
Strong sense of Capital Group processes and ability to navigate within tight timelines in an institutional environment.
Ability to prioritize and organize responsibilities while handling multiple priorities.
Strong collaboration, project management, and influence across a variety of personalities.
Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base salary: Southern California $125,909–$201,454; NewYork $133,471–$213,554; Chicago $117,331–$187,730.
