Your Main Responsibilities
Preferred locations: Los Angeles, CA / San Francisco, CA / Seattle, WA. Open to considering candidates in other locations in Western US.

Develop, implement and drive EI sales strategies and initiatives in support of Area strategic and financial objectives.

Prepare and implement annual Sales Plan in support of Area and Corporate Objectives.

Identify all major potential customers, including national accounts, establish, develop and maintain positive relationships.

Organize, focus and direct all Service Sales Representatives on profitably growing our service portfolio.

Provide support, training and mentoring to Service Sales force.

Track performance vs. objective for all Service Sales Representatives.

Coordinate and facilitate Area service sales training programs.

Maintain lead role for customer satisfaction policies and programs by working closely with Area Service Operations Manager and Service Superintendents.

Develop and champion the Service BDP process.

Base Salary:

$142,800 - $178,600 (only base salary; commissions and long-term incentives not included)

What You Bring
I. Knowledge

Education: Bachelors degree required in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field. Masters degree preferred.

Work Experience: Minimum seven to ten years sales experience in elevator or related industry with at least three in a supervisory role.

II. Critical Skills

Computer Skills: Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP and SMART.

Problem Solving: Maintaining positive business relationships with a myriad of diverse customers requires flexibility, ingenuity and creativity.

Managing a sales force of varied experiences in a wide geographical area, ensuring consistent application and understanding of company policies and procedures.

Developing and implementing Area strategies to support sales, product, quality and commercial objectives – requires complex problem analysis and detailed planning.

Negotiating commercial issues with local customers and maintaining positive long‑term relationships with key accounts and influential industry consultants.

Interacting with functional departments within the Business Unit (i.e., Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Marketing) – requires clear and concise communications.

High stress tolerance and ability to communicate effectively under pressure and opposition.

Additional

Up to 50% travel within the Area will be required.
