Job Description

The Associate Pastor of Music and Media Technology is primarily responsible for the organization and oversight of the music ministry and media technology needs of Maine Street Baptist Church.
We are a Southern Baptist congregation located in southeast coastal Maine. We are a church deeply committed to the Gospel, rooted in Scripture, and boldly stepping into the future God is calling us to, seeking to reach out to and grow a new generation of Christ followers. Brunswick is a stable yet increasingly changing community. It is home to Bowdoin College which was established in 1794 and the community has a rich heritage, though it is highly unchurched.
The Associate Pastor of Music and Media Technology must be able to recommend/utilize a variety of technology tools in the ministries of the church, both internally and for outreach. Plan, coordinate, and lead all church worship services and special worship events. Grow and develop our music and media volunteers team, provide pastoral care for members including visitation, grief ministry, and counseling when needed. Align all efforts with the vision and leadership of the Senior Pastor.
Qualifications

A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear calling to ministry.
Affirm the Baptist Faith and Message (2000).
A Bachelor’s degree in music ministry, theology, or a related field (seminary preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of ministry experience (paid or volunteer).
A desire to serve in a mission field setting.
Must pass Criminal and DMV background checks.
