Account Executive – WPTV (NBC Affiliate, West Palm Beach)

WPTV, an NBC affiliate in West Palm Beach, is seeking an Account Executive. As an Account Executive, you’ll be the ultimate growth engine for local businesses! Your mission? To help them tap into a world of opportunities with powerful, multi‑platform advertising solutions. From OTT video to SEO/SEM, social media, digital displays, e‑mail targeting, and even broadcast TV, you’ll be offering a full toolbox of marketing magic that drives measurable success.
What You’ll Do

Unleash Advertising Success: you’ll be selling game‑changing advertising solutions to local and regional businesses, and advertising agencies—bringing their brand to the next level.
Custom Solutions for Maximum Impact: using the Scripps Sales Process (SSP), you’ll dive deep into customer needs, craft tailored advertising strategies, and deliver impressive ROI.
More Than TV Ads: selling television commercial airtime and unlocking digital marketing to maximize exposure across various platforms.
Go‑Getter Sales Rockstar: a self‑starter who hunts new opportunities, secures appointments, assesses client needs, and closes deals that grow the business.
Negotiate Like a Pro: maximize revenue and deliver customized solutions using data, trends, and strong negotiation skills.
Trusted Advisor & Client Relationship Guru: build deep relationships with clients, provide top‑tier service, and turn connections into long‑lasting partnerships.
Client Services Champion: handle media avail negotiations, campaign execution, presentation prep, copywriting, credit applications, and revenue collection.
Manage Your Sales Funnel Like a Boss: monitor CRM, track metrics, and hit your sales goals with precision.
Creative Collaborator: contribute ideas to campaigns, help craft stories, visuals, and assist in production.
Build Relationships & Have Fun: keep client connections strong to ensure repeat business.

What You’ll Need

A BS/BA in a related field (preferred, but experience counts).
2+ years of sales success.
