Responsibilities
Plan and deliver a globally aligned channel strategy across Movember’s North American social media accounts (IG, Facebook, X, LinkedIn) and support other global channels (YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
Roll out and maintain the Social Operations Plan and execute all organic content within social channels globally.
Strategically plan digital communications and propose new ways of capturing audience reach, acquisition, and retention.
Maximize audience engagement, build online communities, acquire and retain new and existing audiences.
Build and manage a global and local digital content calendar, both quarterly and annually, in collaboration with Campaigns teams.
Understand the relationship between paid and organic social media initiatives; align with local income teams for integrated social channel planning and strategies to boost organic content.
Collaborate with Performance Marketing Manager on paid digital marketing activity to maximize reach and engagement.
Conduct research on benchmark trends and audience preferences to improve the Digital Communications Strategy.
Measure the success of communications, evaluate performance, and share learnings with stakeholders.
Meet KPIs such as post frequency, visibility (impressions), resonance (engagements), consistency (engagement rate), and audience growth.
Develop creative and engaging social media plans and content for campaigns, including influencer outreach and management.
Manage the delivery of communications: create, schedule, and publish content on social media.
Write social copy, accounting for audience, keywords, regional language differences, trending hashtags, and tagging.
Work with the Marketing & Communications team to guide content creation and delivery across departments.
Identify content opportunities based on community activity and advocacy stories.
Develop distribution plans for Movember-owned content in partnership with relevant teams.
Oversee community management frameworks and operational plans to build stronger relationships with audiences.
Monitor selected pages for interaction, liking, responding, answering questions, and promoting engagement.
Meet KPIs such as response time and brand tone of voice.
Collaborate with the Communications team on deploying Movember’s crisis response plans across digital channels.
Identify potential risks via digital channels and implement response plans.
Analyze current Crisis Response plan and develop local market specific plan.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in large-reach social media channel management (planning and execution) with a proven track record of delivering against KPIs.
Digital communications experience across all organic social media channels.
Ability to create effective digital content, including social media tiles and copy.
Deep understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms), trends, and platform changes.
Experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Sprout Social, or equivalent.
Experienced in brief writing for social creative output.
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana).
Creative, energetic, and innovative approach to identifying solutions.
Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships and be a collaborative team player.
Comfortable working in a matrix‑style system with multiple KPIs.
Experience in or familiarity with the social impact space.
Ability to work irregular hours and occasional on‑call status for monitoring and reactive activity.
