Role Overview
The Technical Publications Department at The Toro Company is looking for an exceptional intern with great ideas, skills, and passion for multimedia design and innovation. As an intern, you will create multimedia experiences that demonstrate how to operate Toro software applications and machines. You will gain valuable experience using animation and video software, collaborating with multiple departments, and performing usability testing.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Create illustrations, storyboards, line art, animations, videos, augmented reality, and motion graphics.
Define and translate customer requirements into effective graphical instructions.
Present innovative approaches that inspire, inform, and captivate audiences.
Conduct user testing on animations, motion graphics, and augmented reality experiences.
Use the Toro Graphics Style Guide and the Toro Animations Style Guide.
Enhance your skills using PTC products (Windchill, Creo Parametric, Creo Illustrate).
Qualifications
Undergraduate or graduate student with two years or less left to graduate in multimedia design, animation, or a related field with experience in animation.
Design portfolio that reflects demonstrated ability in technical illustration, 3D animation, and video creation.
Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Proficiency with animation and video software such as Maya, Adobe After Effects, and Camtasia.
Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Availability to participate for the full duration of the internship program on a full‑time basis.
