Purpose
The content author at AKQA is responsible for creating content experiences and managing content and creative assets on the client websites and apps using CMS systems. The content author assembles the pages in CMS to convey the desired message in an aesthetic and compelling manner.
Role Requirements
Experience in creating and managing content using component‑driven CMS systems like AEM or Contentul. Refer to https://www.componentdriven.org/
Experience in creating site structure, content organization and URL structure based on the provided content strategy and SEO guidelines for the website, for an optimized user experience and improved content discovery for search engines.
Experience in creating and managing the content of web pages or mobile apps by manually authoring various content components in CMS that are needed on the page, using text/assets provided by the client or content production team.
Expertise in searching/selecting relevant visual content from existing assets library (DAM) and/or stock images/videos, and requesting new assets from the production teams wherever necessary.
Proactively communicating progress with producers and project managers, including direct client interactions.
Experience in adhering to project management/delivery processes such as task prioritization, status reporting, highlighting dependencies and filling timesheets.
Collaborate effectively with producers, designers, and developers.
Meet deadlines for assigned projects and tasks.
