Education and Experience

College/CEGEP degree or equivalent experience.
3 years to less than 5 years in video production, special events, wedding or broadcast technology.
Work Setting

Outdoors, urban and rural locations, various sites for live or ceremonial programs.
Non‑smoking, air‑conditioned environments where required.
Work can involve travel; own vehicle and valid driver’s licence preferred.
Job Responsibilities

Determine filming sequence and camera movements.
Determine picture composition.
Operate video recording equipment and specialized cameras.
Adjust focus, exposure, lighting and other camera settings.
Produce audio and video streaming broadcasts for the Internet using broadcast equipment.
Complete reports and maintain, test, and store equipment.
Film or produce stills and advertisements for special events.
Physical and Environmental Requirements

Fast‑paced environment, work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Combination of sitting, standing, walking; standing for extended periods; bending, crouching, kneeling.
Manual dexterity, attention to detail, color discrimination, sound discrimination.
Physically demanding repetitive tasks; hand‑eye coordination required.
