We are seeking a

Junior Frontend Developer

with a strong focus on UI/UX to join our Moodle DevOps squad. You will be involved in every stage of our agile process — from conceptualisation and prototyping to development, testing, and deployment — ensuring platforms are both functional and visually engaging.

Responsibilities

Work with the UI/UX team to bind user-facing elements with server-side Moodle logic

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Collaborate with the DevOps team and Eummena's clients to analyse new features and arrive at an optimal solution for their implementation

Debug and continuously improve code, collaborating with the devops team with git-based commits and merge reviews

Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise

Must Have

Experience with frontend frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular)

Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git

Perfect English, both verbal and written

Fast learner, comfortable working in a highly agile and distributed team

Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and an inclination towards communication, inclusion, and visibility

Nice to have

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar disciplines

Experience in basic Linux shell commands

Experience with Moodle, including development of new plugins

Experience as a PHP developer, preferably attested by contributions to Github repos

Solid understanding of responsive design principles

Knowledge of Arabic, Dutch, or French (verbal and written)
