Role Description

This is a contract, on‑site Social Media Marketing Manager role based in New York, NY. The Social Media Marketing Manager will plan, create, and schedule social content across platforms to support the launch and ongoing promotion of Gatcha NYC and related brand initiatives. Responsibilities include managing daily posting and engagement, monitoring trends, responding to community interactions, and partnering with internal teams to align content with campaigns, events, and product launches. The role will also involve tracking performance metrics, optimizing campaigns based on insights, and coordinating with designers, photographers, and other stakeholders to produce compelling visual and written content. The successful candidate will maintain a consistent brand voice, ensure timely coverage of on‑site activities, and contribute ideas to grow audience reach and engagement.
Qualifications

Strong social media and digital marketing skills, including Social Media Marketing, Social Media Optimization (SMO), and Digital Marketing.
Content‑focused capabilities, such as Content Strategy and hands‑on experience planning and executing social content calendars.
Excellent communication skills, including clear writing, storytelling, and professional interaction with online communities and internal stakeholders.
Experience using social media analytics tools to track performance, generate reports, and refine strategies based on data.
Proven ability to manage multiple platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging channels) in a brand or agency setting.
Comfort working on‑site at an entertainment venue, capturing real‑time content and collaborating closely with operations and creative teams.
Knowledge of youth culture, gaming, pop culture, and experiential or retail marketing is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Must be located in the New York City area.
