Job Overview
The Event Photographer will attend co‑curricular events primarily on campus to capture high‑quality, appealing photos for use on the University website and in print materials. Hours vary each week depending on events, often in the evening or on weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Capture high‑quality photos at various campus events.
Interact with students and event participants to obtain the best shots.
Act as both a wedding photographer and a photojournalist.
Submit a portfolio of recent photography for interview review.
Qualifications
Some experience photographing events is preferred.
Must own a camera.
Must be able to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Hours & Employment Conditions
Contracts for 144 hours in the fall term and 136 hours in the spring term.
Students may not work more than 20 hours per week across all campus jobs during the academic year.
Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year.
Student jobs do not automatically roll over to the next academic or summer term.
All current student employees must notify their other manager(s) if working multiple campus jobs.
