About the Role & Team
Univision Chicago is seeking a Technical Director with skills in broadcast/media management and technical operations. This position will require work on nights, weekends and holidays. Rate: $39.00/H.
Your Day-to-Day
Direct all elements of on-air audio and video for a station television program or segment.
Blocking, coding, rundown creation and production execution of newscasts, pre-recorded shows, live cut-ins, pre-recorded cut-ins and station IDs.
Studio control operation – knowledge of Vizrt Graphics Operation Software.
Technical direct live show – knowledge of Sony switcher, Sony ELC and Avid ecosystem.
Robo-Cam operation.
Lighting operation.
Non-linear editing – knowledge of Avid Media Composer and Media Central editing software.
Inbound feed management, prep/processing and routing (microwave & satellite) – knowledge of Avid Capture Recording Equipment.
Communication with all departments at station, master control operations hub and satellite ops centers.
Qualifications
