Supporting customers through sensitive account-related conversations, the full-time Deceased Account Specialist will manage delinquent consumer accounts, handle death notifications, and provide empathetic assistance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities

Manage assigned delinquent consumer accounts and identify appropriate repayment or resolution options with customers or authorized parties
Handle inbound and outbound calls related to death notifications, payment discussions, and account servicing inquiries
Review account documentation and maintain accurate records while collaborating with internal teams for timely resolutions

Required qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Two to three years of experience in collections and/or customer service activities
Ability to manage confidential information in a private work environment
Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Experience handling complex or emotionally sensitive customer interactions
