Communication Strategist

Pay range: $30-37/hr on W2
We are seeking a Communication Strategist to support the planning, execution, and management of wellness communication programs for a diverse client portfolio.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in communications, marketing, health/wellness communications, or agency environments who thrives managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and communication campaigns in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead communication strategy, planning, and execution for client wellness communication programs
- Develop and coordinate multi-channel communication campaigns tailored to employee/member audiences
- Serve as the primary day-to-day communication contact between clients and internal teams
- Partner with writers, designers, project managers, and client teams to deliver campaigns on time and within budget
- Support digital communication execution, including email communications and messaging platforms
- Monitor campaign performance, reporting, and metrics, including budgeted vs. actual hours
- Maintain documentation, project updates, and stakeholder communications
- Contribute to team process improvements and support continuous optimization
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in communications, marketing, advertising, or health/wellness communications
- Proven experience managing multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously
- Strong background in communication strategy, campaign execution, and stakeholder management
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Professional presence working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Strong proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Marketing agency experience strongly preferred
- Experience in corporate wellness, global wellness, employee communications, or health communications
- Exposure to project management tools and workflow systems
- National/global account experience preferred
