3rd Shift Production Technician Pay: $19 Are you passionate about manufacturing and eager to ensure high-quality production? We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician to play a vital role in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting state-of-the-art packaging equipment. Your expertise will directly impact product quality, safety, and operational success in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: Ensure all equipment and tools are ready and operational at the start of each shift. Operate, troubleshoot, and monitor packaging machinery such as depalletizers, fillers, packers, and more. Perform routine quality checks to maintain product standards. Complete detailed production logs documenting daily activities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of packaging equipment. Conduct weekly preventative maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly. Set up and perform changeovers for different products efficiently. Monitor equipment performance continuously and report any issues. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices. Collaborate with team members and report food safety or quality concerns promptly. Take on additional duties assigned by the Line Leader to support production goals. Required Skills: Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities. Basic computer literacy. Attention to detail and good documentation skills. Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment safely. Commitment to safety standards and food safety protocols. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with specific equipment such as depalletizers, labelers, or stretch-wrappers. Additional certifications related to manufacturing or safety. Familiarity with tool usage including wrenches, pliers, and gauges. Preferred Education and Experience: Associate's or Vocational degree in a technical discipline or related work experience. Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is a plus. Other Requirements: Must furnish a comprehensive Tool Bag including pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and other essential tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and lift up to [insert weight if known]. Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime if necessary. Strong commitment to food safety and quality practices.
