Position Overview
Senior Pega Developer – responsible for driving strategic business process management initiatives using Pega technologies, contributing to application systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities
Individual contributor developing complex, high-volume & scalable Pega applications.
Lead all aspects of project lifecycle: partner with IT vendors and business to define requirements, develop functional specifications, design, estimate, build and deploy Pega Infinity applications, and provide project oversight.
Analyze complex problems/issues, evaluate business and system processes, and provide judgement based on industry standards.
Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues and recommend or install programming solutions.
Develop solutions for updating or improving existing applications and infrastructure to meet IT commitments.
Ensure procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
Act as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, model development, and implement new or revised application systems.
Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation; provide user and operational support.
Recommend and develop security measures post-implementation to ensure successful system design and functionality.
Operate with limited supervision, exercising independence of judgement and autonomy.
Act as SME for senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
Assess risk, ensuring compliance with laws, rules and regulations, and maintaining ethical judgment in business decisions.
Qualifications
5+ years of hands‑on experience with BPM solutions, specifically Pega Infinity.
Proficient in Pega Infinity 24.x or higher application design and development.
Proficient in SQL and designing relational databases in Oracle.
Hands‑on experience with Pega Cosmos or Constellation.
Experience with Pega DX APIs; Agentic AI experience is a plus.
Minimum Pega CSSA certification.
Systems analysis and programming experience for software applications.
Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
Working knowledge of consulting / project management techniques.
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
Education
Bachelor’s degree, university degree, or equivalent experience.
Location & Compensation
Primary Location: Irving, Texas, United States. Full‑time salary range: $107,120 – $160,680 per year. Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage; 401(k); life, accident and disability insurance; wellness programs; paid time off and holidays.
