Job Description
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for focusing on new business to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino-Tampa.
- Maintains relationships and markets our gaming product and amenities to valued guests and develops new business relationships
- Greets guests in the casino and participates in social events and special promotions
- Evaluates player ratings to track visits, arranges accommodations and provides complimentary services according to established guidelines
- Effectively handles guest complaints and discrepancies in an efficient and courteous manner
- Provides special services to include food, beverage, transportation, cross-property events and Player’s Club programs
- Achieves predetermined targeted production quotas, profitability goals and other goals provided by management for room occupancy, entertainment events, special events and gaming revenue
- Responsible for marketing to predetermined active and inactive customers by mail and phone to further develop brand loyalty and visitation to the casino and reports results of each
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all electronic gaming machines, player tracking systems, promotions, events, entertainment and general property information
- Safeguards the confidential nature of all departmental and general property records
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree in Business, Advertising or Marketing preferred.
- Five (5) – Seven (7) years of player development or casino marketing experience required, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Candidate MUST bring established book of new customers to Seminole Hard Rock Tampa
- Must have excellent communication skills, judgment, high moral integrity and strong work ethic
- Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Seminole Tribe of Florida, and Player Development departmental policies and procedures
- Must have strong organizational, planning and communication skills
- Must possess strong leadership and team building skills
- Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals
- Must present professional image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional image
- Must be able to tolerate casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to serving customers in a high pressure fast paced environment
- Must be able to perform other duties as assigned
Work Environment
- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting as well as on the Casino Floor. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
