Qualifications:
Valid Michigan teaching certificate with the JX-Music endorsement required
Experienced in teaching grades 5-8
Working knowledge of band and orchestra literature
Working knowledge of instrument pedagogy
Ability to motivate students
Ensemble Director
Responsibilities:
Choose and order music
Order supplies for the group
Submit invoices to program administrator
Run 14 rehearsals
Location: Parcells Middle School
Dates: July 6 - 17, 2026
Days: Monday - Friday
Time: 9am - 12pm depending on ensemble
Closing Celebration: Friday, July 17th, 10am in Parcells Auditorium
Compensation: In accordance with the Master Agreement, Appendix E, All Directors: Club, Class I - $988.38
