Intermediate Orchestra Director Fiddlers Director Jazz Band Director Advanced Orchestra Director Advanced Band Director Qualifications: Valid Michigan teaching certificate with the JX-Music endorsement required Experienced in teaching grades 5-8 Working knowledge of band and orchestra literature Working knowledge of instrument pedagogy Ability to motivate students Ensemble Director Responsibilities Choose and order music Order supplies for the group Submit invoices to program administrator Run 14 rehearsals Conduct concert Location: Parcells Middle School Dates: July 6 - 17, 2026 Days: Monday - Friday Time: 9am - 12pm depending on ensemble Closing Celebration: Friday, July 17th, 10am in Parcells Auditorium Compensation: In accordance with the Master Agreement, Appendix E, All Directors: Club, Class I - $988.38 Application Procedure: Internal applicants should email a letter of intent to: elstonb@gpschools.org and list the Job ID in the subject line.
