Responsibilities

Developing and Evolving Strategy

Drive evolution and execution of the UPLIZNA Phases of Growth strategy, including the 12‑quarter roadmap.
Lead and support the annual UPLIZNA brand planning process across the portfolio, ensuring strategic priorities, behavioral objectives, tactical plans, KPIs, and investment choices are clearly aligned across indications.
Translate portfolio strategy into clear, actionable commercial priorities that accelerate and optimize growth across the franchise.

Account Management

Build and lead the account management marketing strategy for UPLIZNA, including tools, resources, and engagement approaches that support strategic account planning, IDN engagement, matrix coordination, and local pull‑through.
Develop portfolio‑level marketing resources and field enablement tools that clarify roles, responsibilities, desired outcomes, and timing across matrix teams supporting demand generation, patient starts, access navigation, and adherence.
Support the optimization of customer engagement across the portfolio by identifying opportunities to improve targeting, segmentation, omnichannel coordination, field execution, and account‑level impact.

Veeva Suggestions and Technology

Lead the portfolio approach and strategy for Veeva Suggestions, including business objectives, trigger strategy, message alignment, governance, field feedback loops, and performance measurement.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI, modular content, omnichannel engagement, and scalable execution models to improve efficiency, consistency, and impact across the UPLIZNA portfolio.
Support portfolio KPI tracking, dashboards, and measurement plans to help leadership assess progress, identify risks, and adjust execution as needed.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner across Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, Case Management, Site of Care, Sales, Training, Analytics, and field leadership to align priorities, accelerate key growth opportunities, and improve the customer and patient experience.
Collaborate with indication marketing leads to ensure UPLIZNA messaging, resources, field tools, and portfolio positioning are consistent where appropriate while supporting indication‑specific needs.
Embody Amgen Values and help foster a collaborative, high‑performing culture across the UPLIZNA brand team and cross‑functional partners.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree and 2 years of portfolio strategy, marketing, or account management experience
Master’s degree and 4 years of portfolio strategy, marketing, or account management experience
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of portfolio strategy, marketing, or account management experience
Associate’s degree and 10 years of portfolio strategy, marketing, or account management experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of portfolio strategy, marketing, or account management experience
Preferred Qualifications
Strong marketing and commercial strategy competencies, including brand planning, marketplace analysis, insight generation, segmentation, strategic prioritization, tactical planning, and multichannel engagement.
Experience translating complex business strategies into clear, actionable, field‑ready plans.
Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and influencing teams without direct authority.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret business performance, customer insights, field feedback, and KPI data to inform strategic decisions.
Experience developing or managing field enablement tools, account‑based marketing resources, CRM/Veeva suggestions, alerts, dashboards, or omnichannel engagement strategies.
Rare disease, specialty, neurology, immunology, or multi‑indication brand experience.
Launch, growth brand, or portfolio strategy experience.
Experience collaborating with Sales, Market Access, Medical, Patient Services, Analytics, Sales Operations, Training, and Legal/Regulatory/Compliance partners.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage, connect, and influence senior management as well as sales and marketing organizations.
Ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, workstreams, and cross‑functional stakeholders simultaneously.
Ability to simplify ambiguity, create structure, and drive execution in a fast‑moving, matrixed environment.
Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and commitment to compliant execution.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $149,349.25 to $202,060.75. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
