Audiovisual Design & Integration Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) – The Boeing Company, Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) / Intelligence Systems (IS) is seeking a motivated and self‑starting professional to support system design, integration, and testing activities for complex government systems in Herndon, VA.
Position Responsibilities
Support system design, integration, and verification activities across multiple platforms and subsystems.
Develop and maintain system documentation, interface control documents, and integration plans.
Perform system‑level troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and issue resolution to ensure operational readiness.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including software, hardware, and test engineers to resolve integration challenges.
Participate in design reviews, test planning, and execution to validate system performance.
Provide technical support and training to internal teams and government customers as needed.
Maintain compliance with security, configuration management, and change control processes.
Attend daily engineering and program meetings to coordinate integration efforts and report status.
Maintain professional demeanor while working in high‑pressure environments with senior officials and stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with an adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph (U.S. Citizenship required).
Level3: 3+ years of related systems design and integration experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Must be able to travel to various job sites as needed, sometimes using company vehicle; valid driver’s license required.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
Experience with system integration tools, documentation platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence), and test equipment.
Familiarity with systems engineering principles and integration best practices.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Level4: 5+ years of related systems design and integration experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Associate degree or higher in a relevant field.
Experience with government or defense systems integration projects.
Knowledge of security and compliance requirements in classified environments.
Relevant certifications in systems engineering or integration disciplines.
Security Clearance and Additional Requirements
Conflict of Interest: Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
Drug‑Free Workplace: Must comply with the company policy regarding drug testing.
U.S. Export Control Compliance: Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62.

Summary pay range for Mid‑Level (Level3): $119,850.00 – $162,150.00; Senior (Level4): $146,200.00 – $197,800.00.
