A premier oceanfront resort located on the Kona Coast of Hawai‘i Island is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the strategic direction and execution of all sales and marketing initiatives. This expansive resort features multiple dining outlets, extensive event and meeting space, a full‑service spa, and a variety of recreational experiences that showcase the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the island. The organization embraces a culture of genuine hospitality, warmth, and care for both guests and team members.
The Director of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for driving revenue growth, increasing market share, and optimizing profitability across all segments. A key priority of the role is elevating the property’s brand positioning and ensuring clarity, consistency, and authenticity in all communication efforts, both internal and external.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and overseeing the resort’s comprehensive sales efforts
- Developing, implementing, and refining annual marketing plans
- Collaborating with corporate brand, sales, marketing, and revenue management teams
- Aligning commercial strategies to achieve rate, occupancy, and revenue goals
- Expanding visibility and performance in leisure, group, and corporate markets
This position is part of the resort’s Executive Committee and is based on-site in Kailua-Kona. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, inspiring leader with a strong ability to build partnerships and deliver outstanding business results.
