Overview

Apple’s communications team shapes and shares the stories about our innovative products and services, and the values that drive everything we do. We are currently seeking a Senior PR Manager for the Launch Communications role in Cupertino, CA. The successful candidate will develop communications strategies and proactively manage media and influencer activities to build excitement around Apple products, with a particular focus on launch, planning, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute launch‑focused communications strategy.• Manage media and influencer activity to drive product awareness and excitement.• Coordinate with product, marketing, events, and Marcom teams to create and deliver launch activities.• Optimize planning processes and clarify cross‑functional workflows.• Lead and present the PR voice during the launch window.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in communications.
  • Past leadership experience managing and developing teams.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to build formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.
  • Develops and delivers effective communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Analytical skills to handle complex, high‑volume, and sometimes contradictory information.
  • Understanding of internal and external stakeholder requirements and expectations.
  • Experience in media relations with a network of contacts in technology, consumer, and lifestyle spaces.
  • Knowledge of current trends in podcasting, newsletters, and creator‑centric communication.
  • Track record of delivering creative PR campaigns with measurable impact.
  • Self‑motivated, positive team‑player attitude, and passion for consumer technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with superb attention to detail.
  • Adaptability to ambiguity, multi‑tasking, and tight timelines across multiple jurisdictions.

Pay & Benefits

The base pay range for this role is between $185,800 and $279,600, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
