Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the Corporate Reputation and Communications team, establishing organizational communications priorities aligned with short- and long-term goals.
  • Define and implement a comprehensive communication strategy that articulates Modivcare’s corporate narrative and thought leadership across all products and services.
  • Oversee a proactive, always-on media relations program that consistently raises awareness and grows the company’s share of voice.
  • Build and manage relationships with media, influencer communities, and stakeholders for paid and earned coverage, ensuring rapid and strategic responses to emerging news and trends.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage to evaluate effectiveness, identify opportunities for increased visibility, and adjust strategies to maximize impact.
  • Collaborate with executives to craft compelling narratives that reinforce the company’s position as an industry leader and trusted voice.
  • Drive storytelling initiatives that highlight Modivcare’s contributions to communities, economic impact, and workforce opportunities.
  • Organize and manage strategic internal and external events in partnership with executive and product leadership, including salon dinners, conference events, and thought leadership forums.
  • Lead day‑to‑day implementation of communications projects and campaigns, managing projects against established benchmarks and ensuring quality delivery.
  • Steward the Modivcare brand by overseeing the development of corporate logos, trademarked content, visual identity, and content look and feel.
  • Develop and execute an integrated thought leadership plan, leveraging executive voices to enhance the company’s share of voice, influence policy, and elevate authority.
  • Oversee the creation of speeches, talking points, presentations, and executive communications for the CEO, Board, and senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting processes to track performance, share insights with leadership, and inform decision‑making.
  • Direct external agencies and internal staff in budgeting, planning, staffing, and professional development.
  • Lead crisis communication planning and execution in partnership with legal, compliance, operations, and executive teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred or equivalent education.
  • 15+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or related fields, with significant leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor remote teams of skilled professionals.
  • Experience in health, human services, and long‑term care policy, including Medicare and Medicaid programs, is essential.
  • Ten or more years of management experience leading teams of varying sizes.
  • Strong project management and judgment skills, with the ability to deliver multiple projects on deadline.
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage up, delegate, and edit the work of others.
  • Solid understanding of the current healthcare landscape and relevant organizational impacts.

Compensation

Salary range: $202,300 – $283,200 (annual). Position is bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
