Position Overview
The Regional Sales Office Director will lead a site‑based sales team responsible for raising and retaining assets for Capital Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate national objectives into actionable priorities, targets, and action plans across assigned business groups in partnership with RSO and Field sales leadership.
- Set a clear vision, strategy, and priorities for the assigned business group within the RSO.
- Ensure consistency in purpose, operating practices, and execution across divisions within the Director’s business group and in coordination with Field Sales partners.
- Oversee execution of sales campaigns and strategic initiatives across assigned divisions to increase client engagement and drive sales.
- Assess client satisfaction within the business group and sponsor changes to improve outcomes and long‑term relationships.
- Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and operating routines for core processes within the business group.
- Monitor performance with regular meetings with National Sales and Division Managers, recommending adjustments as needed.
- Select, develop, and maintain an effective team of RSO Division Managers and leaders within the business group.
- Coach and develop associates to meet business goals and strengthen leadership capability.
- Cultivate strong, diverse teams by modeling Capital Group’s core values and fostering a culture that reflects what makes Capital a special place to work.
- Create high standards of excellence, engagement, and accountability across assigned divisions.
- Lead with care, authenticity, and energy; actively engage and motivate associates.
- Manage budget and expenses for the assigned business group responsibly.
- Partner with RSO leadership to shape organizational structures and resource allocation that support evolving business needs.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of NACG’s business model, strategic initiatives, and investment platforms as they apply to the business group.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the financial services industry, firm priorities, and emerging trends affecting assigned divisions.

- Highly effective written and oral communication skills with diverse associates, senior leaders, and external stakeholders.

- Expert knowledge of the financial services industry and awareness of current and future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information affecting the division and NACG.
- Knowledge of NACG’s business model, strategic initiatives, and investment platforms as they apply to the business group.
- Capability to manage a high workload while maintaining focus on the most impactful outcomes.
Compensation & Benefits
Southern California Base Salary Range: $234,276 – $398,269. In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, the Director will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, Capital’s annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of eligible earnings.
