Director – Strategy & Operations, Product & Technology (Req ID: )
Key Responsibilities
- Build out a high‑performing Strategy & Operations team with leads aligned to specific product areas, acting as both a visionary and a hands‑on problem solver.
- Drive the goal‑setting process for OKRs across the Product and Technology organization, partnering with team leads to define objectives, measurable targets, and to manage recurring leadership reviews.
- Be the analytical backbone for key metrics: understand data sets, identify trends, surface insights, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to optimize performance.
- Support CPTO‑level review forums including Product Reviews, Weekly Metric Reviews, OKR Reviews, and other operational touchpoints, proactively identifying opportunities to improve velocity and impact through rigor.
- Partner with Corporate Communications, Creative Storytelling, and Workplace Experience to plan town halls, off‑sites, summits, and other large‑scale events where Product and Technology is represented.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience inProdOps, Strategy, or Analytics roles within leading technology companies, startups, consulting, or professional services.
- BS/BA in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving skills with expertise in organizing complex data into clear narratives.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and SQL; intermediate to advanced skill in Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools is highly preferred.
- Experience defining and measuring OKRs, KPIs, or comparable success metrics.
- Proactive “self‑starter” with a bias for action, proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, and the capacity to engage in executive‑level discussions.
- Collaborative culture carrier, comfortable influencing across departments in a matrixed, fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills; able to develop high‑level presentations for senior executive audiences.
Compensation
SanFrancisco, CA: $227,200 – $304,700 per year. LosAngeles, CA: $207,400 – $278,100 per year. Base pay is awarded based on internal equity and individual factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided, along with the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
