Eclipse Advertising is seeking an experienced and visionary Creative Director to lead high‑profile entertainment marketing campaigns across theatrical, streaming, television, and digital platforms. This role is responsible for driving creative excellence from concept through execution while inspiring multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced agency environment.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, exceptional storyteller, and hands‑on creative leader with deep experience in entertainment advertising. You understand how to craft breakthrough campaigns that resonate culturally, emotionally, and visually while balancing client expectations, timelines, and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creative vision and execution of integrated entertainment marketing campaigns across print, digital, social, AV, experiential, and OOH
- Develop compelling campaign concepts, visual systems, taglines, and creative strategies for film, television, streaming, and gaming clients
- Oversee and mentor teams of Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, and Production Designers
- Present creative concepts and campaign strategies directly to studio, network, and streaming clients
- Ensure creative quality, consistency, and innovation across all deliverables and touchpoints
- Partner closely with Account, Strategy, Production, and AV teams to deliver campaigns on schedule and within scope
- Provide clear creative direction, actionable feedback, and leadership throughout all project phases
- Maintain awareness of entertainment, pop culture, design, technology, and social media trends
- Help shape agency creative standards, processes, and long‑term growth initiatives
- Foster a collaborative, high‑performing creative culture within the agency
Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of experience in entertainment advertising, creative agencies, streaming, studios, or related media environments
- Proven experience leading successful entertainment marketing campaigns from concept through launch
- Strong portfolio showcasing integrated creative work across theatrical, streaming, television, gaming, and/or digital campaigns
- Exceptional design sensibility, storytelling ability, and conceptual thinking
- Advanced understanding of entertainment marketing trends, audience engagement, and platform behaviors
- Strong presentation, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a deadline‑driven environment
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with motion, AI‑assisted workflows, and emerging creative technologies
- Experience collaborating with editors, trailer houses, photographers, illustrators, and external creative partners
Preferred Experience
- Experience leading campaigns for major studios, networks, or streaming platforms
- Strong understanding of social‑first campaign development and digital audience engagement
- Background in motion graphics, AV creative, or experiential campaigns is a plus
- Experience managing and mentoring large creative teams
