The Dana School of Music is looking for an inspiring musician to direct a Gospel Choir.
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students promptly. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university-provided tools and resources.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Music or related field.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Documented experience in leading a gospel choir.
- Successful candidates will also show the potential to be good recruiters for the ensemble.
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary: work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs may be defined as Sedentary when walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other Sedentary criteria are met.
