Summary Of Position

Directs all technical and marketing operations associated with the organization’s ecommerce function. This role works closely with cross‑functional teams, including Marketing Communications, Sales, and Operations, to ensure successful product launches, market adoption, and revenue generation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Aligns and structures ecommerce focused team for success; assesses and analyzes pressure points, shifting resources to maximize effectiveness.
  • Works with portfolio marketing and sales organizations to develop ecommerce marketing content and KPI performance metrics, including revenue growth, retail media, customer‑focused advertising partnerships, technology stack input, and integration with overall online presence.
  • Owns Amazon.com internal/external structure and is responsible for revenue and profit performance, planning for Amazon.com within the budget set by the Senior VP Sales and Craftsman.
  • Plans, develops, purchases, implements, and maintains ecommerce platforms and related technology systems to support online presence.
  • Partners with IT to communicate with ecommerce vendors, ensuring infrastructure, software, and related applications support marketing objectives.
  • Informs and collaborates with senior management on online, social media, and digital marketing; develops ecommerce revenue budget targets, presents results, and adjusts plans monthly or quarterly aligned to QBR process.
  • Partners with IT and VP Business Operations to ensure platforms integrate with CRM and ERP systems.
  • Leads and directs ecommerce team employees, handling all personnel actions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Significant collaboration with cross‑functional teams, including sales, marketing communications, operations, finance, and supply chain, to ensure product alignment.
  • Experience with supervisory responsibilities over subordinate managers.
  • Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function alongside senior management.
  • Establishes departmental policies, practices, and procedures with significant organizational impact.
  • Excellent project management skills, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and analytic tools.
  • Powerful presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement long‑term marketing strategies that drive growth across broad distribution channels.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10 years of experience in business, marketing, or related field, with prior management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ecommerce analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to work in front of a laptop and/or workstation for extended periods.
  • Occasional standing, sitting, walking, and talking on the phone.
  • Schedule flexibility, including weekend and after‑hours workload.
