What is the opportunity?
Join the Global Content Marketing Team within our Global Asset Management (GAM) business as an Associate Director for Content Marketing. You will lead the development of content for the US market, enhance RBC GAM’s engagement with target audiences, and accelerate the evolution of the content function globally.
What will you do?
- Partner with Investment, Distribution, and Marketing teams to generate high-impact thought leadership across media channels (print, digital, video), aligning with commercial goals and client needs.
- Refresh and update existing evergreen materials, such as webpages and whitepapers.
- Leverage and adapt content from other offices.
- Take accountability for editorial calendars, timely delivery, impact measurement, and stakeholder engagement.
- Work proactively with key Investment and Distribution stakeholders to define and articulate client needs, key messages, and calls to action ahead of content production.
- Leverage insights, including AI tools, across media types, geographies, and distribution opportunities, ensuring swift content leverage across regions.
- Collaborate with Digital and Marketing teams to analyze content performance, share insights, and identify improvement opportunities such as campaign success or A/B testing results.
- Pilot new content formats, technologies, and distribution tactics to stay ahead of industry trends, demonstrating efficiency gains through AI.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- 10+ years of experience leading the creation of investment insights within asset management, with deep knowledge of investment markets and decision-making.
- Proven ability to originate audience-appropriate content independently and distill complex investment concepts into clear, engaging, and visually compelling content for institutional and intermediary audiences across multiple geographies.
- Prolific output capacity, problem‑solving agility, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, client‑centric environment.
- Leadership in stakeholder engagement, collaborating with multiple audiences to achieve shared objectives and driving initiatives independently.
- Experience deploying AI tools for content optimization and efficiency, with a growth mindset for testing emerging trends.
- Working understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks across jurisdictions, especially in the US, and other geographies a plus.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $99,000 – $176,000, depending on experience, skills, registration status, market conditions, and business needs.
You have the potential to earn more through RBC’s discretionary variable compensation program, which allows you to increase total compensation when the business meets performance targets and you meet individual goals.
