Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise to help Premier and members navigate rapidly changing policy environments to advance high‑quality, highly efficient healthcare.
  • Support the development and execution of Premier’s advocacy strategy for technology and data policy, and advocate for policies that incentivize technology adoption and deployment in healthcare.
  • Serve as an advisor and spokesperson to members, lawmakers, the administration, and health policy experts to influence policy favorably for Premier and members.
  • Develop and execute Premier’s policy positions and recommendations for regulatory and legislative topics such as technology, data, privacy, and insurance industry oversight.
  • Act as a connection point between Premier, its members, lawmakers, and the administration to advance legislative and regulatory reforms that align with Premier’s business strategies and member priorities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare organizations in DC to foster coalition efforts on policy and lobbying agendas.
  • Coordinate with the Public Relations team to develop and publish content that elevates advocacy priorities and Premier’s visibility.

Required Qualifications

  • 7 or more years of applicable experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong quantitative reasoning skills in a healthcare research environment.
  • Project management experience.
  • Financial operations knowledge.
  • Progressive policy research, implementation, advocacy, consulting, or related healthcare setting experience.
  • Training in public health, health services research, and policy analysis.
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement policies and alternative payment mechanisms.
