VP, Sales
We are looking for experienced candidates who have averaged more than $1M+ in annual target life premium and understand sophisticated clients, products, and advisors. The VP, Sales will manage and grow Lion Street Private Client (LSPC) business.
Responsibilities
- Offer sales and case‑design support to our firms and their advisors.
- Correspond with Lion Street firms to share ideas and participate in recruitment and sales campaigns assigned by management.
- Build and strengthen partnerships with independent producers, institutional clients, branch managers, and insurance specialists.
- Collaborate with internal teams and Lion Street partnership carriers to recommend products and pricing strategies.
- Utilize Lion Street’s CRM to maintain records and sales reporting.
- Deliver exceptional support before, during, and after the sale to deepen relationships with producers and clients.
- Develop strategic client profiles to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support overall business goals.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience wholesaling to institutions—wire houses, national and regional banks, P&C, and RIA firms—with strong client point‑of‑sale interactions.
- Expertise in identifying, recruiting, and cultivating new institutional relationships from scratch.
- Depth of knowledge and understanding of life products, planning concepts, and compliance standards for the institutional marketplace.
- Ability to work with Lion Street carriers and alliances to leverage existing product experts and resources for the benefit of the firms.
- Strong communication and customer service skills; willingness to take initiative, exhibit creative thinking, and take ownership of opportunities.
- Self‑starter attitude and strong desire to provide excellent results; ability to excel in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.
- Series 6 and 7 licenses required; Series 24, 63, Life, Accident & Health preferred.
- Industry certifications such as CLU, ChFC, or CFP preferred.
