You will provide strategic guidance and support the delivery of best‑in‑class, consumer‑centric media plans and activations that drive business impact in accordance with best practices, Global Golden Rules and operational excellence. Additionally, as a Programmatic Strategic Workstream Lead, you will also lead key portfolio‑wide initiatives for our team in delivering long‑term, future‑forward ways of working and innovation for specific workstreams in our programmatic process. This role reports to the AVP/Head of Programmatic Media.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key consultant to senior brand and divisional leads, translating programmatic performance into long‑term marketing recommendations and cross‑channel success.
  • Lead the design and delivery of high‑level business reviews and growth opportunity presentations, focusing on the why behind the data to drive future investment decisions.
  • Streamline the oversight of tactical execution‑including trading setup, pacing, and budget management—ensuring these processes serve as a foundation for performance rather than a primary focus.
  • Ensure all programmatic campaigns are executed with consistency and excellence as defined by local and global L’Oreal standards.
  • Act as a core member of the programmatic leadership team to support lead initiatives, deliver programmatic excellence (planning, trading, and operations), and support strategic workstream leads (Digital TV, SSP, audience targeting, sales studies, etc.) by scaling best practices.
  • Interpret and scale L’Oreal’s divisional data strategy within programmatic to maximize competitive advantage and ROI.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of innovation capabilities, the L’Oreal business, and existing/emerging buying platforms (e.g., DV360, Amazon DSP, TTD).
  • Act as a core resource for gathering and distributing research regarding the programmatic industry.
  • Present and submit case studies of the team’s work to internal teams and cross‑functionally in department‑wide and inter‑agency meetings.
  • Liaise between key internal groups (Division Media, Consumer Insights, DDX/CRM, oneMedia, Advanced Analytics) to ensure programmatic is integrated into the consumer journey, while keeping processes seamless and flexible.
  • Collaborate successfully with inter‑agency omnichannel planning and investment leads to drive efficient ways of working and best‑in‑class media plans.
  • Provide effective and empathetic management by facilitating psychological safety and collaboration within your team.
  • Provide consistent oversight and effective feedback for both your internal team and the media agency’s programmatic team.

Strategic Workstream Lead Responsibilities

  • Continuously evolve le Desk’s programmatic expertise by shifting focus from manual processes to maximizing business impact through AI‑driven, data‑first strategies.
  • Elevate the planning, activation, and optimization of programmatic video activations, leveraging machine learning and advanced data signals to drive omnichannel ROI.
  • Champion AI and agentic solutions across the campaign lifecycle to automate reporting, streamline management, and drive highly efficient programmatic buying.
  • Develop and socialize the annual le Desk Workstream Playbook, turning case studies and learning agendas into standardized best practices for the entire organization.
  • Move beyond troubleshooting to identify and mitigate systemic planning risks, ensuring organizational agility in an ambiguous marketplace.
  • Lead the alignment with local and global “Golden Rules,” ensuring consistency and excellence across all programmatic workstreams.

Required Qualifications
