Note: This role is based in our Los Angeles office, working two days a week in the office on a hybrid schedule.

Client Leadership & Strategy

  • Serve as the senior strategic lead across a portfolio of clients, setting vision, KPIs, and success frameworks while ensuring consistent delivery of top‑tier results.
  • Oversee experiential strategy while collaborating with peers to develop integrated campaigns that may touch influencer marketing, earned press, paid media, and more.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior clients, providing ongoing strategic counsel and identifying long‑term growth opportunities. Grow revenue under management through outstanding client relationships and client service.

  • New business includes RFPs from net‑new clients as well as proactively farming your existing book, bringing scope expansion ideas to clients before they come to you, and converting those conversations into signed work. You’ll also enable your colleagues across SGPR and the Orchestra network to sell experiential, through pricing packages, one‑pagers, internal trainings, and case studies that make it easy for other teams to pitch what we do.
  • New business may be specific to experiential or may be an integrated pitch for multiple service lines.
  • Conceptualize breakthrough, culturally resonant ideas that define client positioning, communicate product differentiators, and generate meaningful talkability (whether social shares and/or earned media).
  • Personally develop experiential strategies and creative concepts, and provide strategic and creative direction to elevate team output and ensure all work is differentiated, impactful, and aligned with client goals.
  • Own the measurement framework for programs across your portfolio, defining how success is evaluated, how results are reported, and how experiential work connects to each client’s business objectives.
  • Operate as executive producer on 5‑10 programs at any given time, stepping in to guide execution and troubleshoot when needed.

Financial Performance & Operations

  • Develop mastery of SGPR’s existing financial systems with the goal of owning scoping, staffing models, and margin management for your clients.
  • Oversee account performance against budgets and staffing plans, ensuring efficient delivery and strong utilization.
  • Help determine when your group needs to grow, what roles are needed, and who fills them, partnering with your manager and the hiring team to move quickly on the right people.
  • Partner with Department Head and peers to understand team capacity and bandwidth and to assign staffers to projects.
  • Manage and develop experiential talent, providing mentorship, feedback, and clear growth pathways.
  • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and ongoing coaching.
  • Foster a collaborative, high‑performance team culture that prioritizes creativity, accountability, and growth.
