The Marketing Director provides operational leadership for Life Network’s Marketing and Communications department. This role oversees both ministry marketing and donor marketing initiatives and is responsible for executing marketing campaigns that support client outreach, donor engagement, and community awareness. This role reports to the CEO and works in conjunction with the CEO and Chief Generosity Officer (CGO) to implement strategic priorities through coordinated marketing campaigns, events, and communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Leadership & Strategy

  • Leads overall marketing strategy to advance organizational goals across all audiences and channels
  • Supervises the Events Manager, the Marketing Manager, and other staff and contracted support
  • Oversees brand strategy, consistency, and compliance across all ministry brands and programs
  • Uses analytics to evaluate performance and optimize marketing effectiveness
  • Manages marketing budget, resources, and priorities
  • Serves on the Executive Leadership Team and participates in major organizational events as required by Life Network staff

Audience Marketing / Donors

  • Leads integrated donor communications, campaigns, and fundraising events (Walk for Life, Gala)
  • Oversees the writing and editing for donor messaging, including support for executive communications
  • Partners with CEO and CGO to advance monthly, major, and planned giving strategies for Clients & Customers
  • Leads marketing strategies to reach and engage pregnancy center patients and parenting ministry clients
  • Oversees outreach to thrift store customers in collaboration with the Thrift Store Director
  • Oversees marketing across all channels, including web, email, social, digital advertising, print, broadcast (TV/radio), and video
  • Directs agency and internal team execution of campaigns, media buying (including billboard and broadcast), and creative development
  • Manages websites, digital marketing (SEO, paid ads, geo-targeting), and content strategy

Team & Project Management

  • Leads internal staff team of six, plus contractors and agencies, to execute marketing initiatives
  • Oversees project planning, timelines, and marketing calendars
  • Ensures delivery of high-quality, on-brand marketing assets

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications preferred
  • 7 - 10 years of professional marketing experience with evidence of increasing responsibility
  • Supervision of direct reports and/or directing teams to achieve results
  • Experience with website maintenance and design

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong advocate for sanctity of life issues
  • Possesses Christian testimony with evidence of Christian maturity in personal and professional life
  • Active commitment in a local church
  • A passion for the ministry accomplished through Life Network and a heart for reaching the lost with the Gospel
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, both oral and written, with a high degree of professionalism and maturity
  • Ability to work well with others to meet deadlines, manage details, and maintain high quality standards
  • Thorough understanding and demonstrated ability to maximize digital tools – and an ability to manage web pages in WordPress
  • Ability to do basic video editing for digital use is a plus
  • Strong computer skills in a variety of software including Office, fundraising and design applications
  • Demonstrates qualities of initiative, organization, teamwork, and goal-orientation
  • Ability and willingness to be flexible and adaptable in unpredictable situations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and delegate responsibilities effectively

CLASSIFICATION

Full-time, Exempt position. Pay range: $66,500 to 72,000 per year. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday. Reports to the CEO. This is an onsite position.
