Position
The Justice, Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced leader to serve as Deputy Director of the Independent Pretrial Services Agency. This unclassified (at-will) position reports to executive leadership and will lead Los Angeles County’s efforts to strengthen and expand pretrial services, diversion strategies, and coordinated care pathways for justice‑impacted individuals throughout the county.
Responsibilities
The Deputy Director will oversee the Independent Pretrial Services Agency and related initiatives focused on improving access to community‑based services, reducing unnecessary incarceration, and supporting evidence‑based alternatives to detention.
