Senior Director, Marketing (Hollywood, CA) – Lead marketing initiatives for Capitol Records roster of artists.

Responsibilities
- Spearhead marketing initiatives for Capitol Records artists, building and executing comprehensive marketing plans that include promotions, social content, influencer campaigns, digital advertising, CRM, partner activations, content seeding outlets, and artists’ websites.
- Develop and execute integrated, progressive marketing strategies for a range of artists – from new signings to global superstars – across the CMG roster.
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across A&R, Retail & Revenue, Product Development, Digital, TV & Film Licensing, and Artist Management to support priority projects, artists, and brands.
- Guide and execute artist branding, creative materials and original content specific to each campaign.
- Proactively communicate goals, project analysis, and marketing strategies with all departments, artist management and agents.
- Interface regularly with artists and management on all aspects of commercial release plans to ensure project success.
- Analyze streaming, sales, radio and social data to adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
- Implement innovative digital marketing tactics and emerging streaming trends.
Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of experience in marketing, preferably at the director, product manager or VP level within record companies, artist management or talent agencies.
- Strong project management and execution skills, with a proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
- Creative thinker capable of generating innovative marketing ideas.
- Deep understanding of DSP trends and emerging streaming business across Spotify, Apple, Soundcloud, and YouTube.
- Social media savvy with experience on platforms and the ability to interpret associated data.
- Excellent communication, presentation, writing and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Nielsen statistics analysis (Soundscan, Mediabase).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Compensation & Eligibility
- Salary range: $88,640 – $168,535, with actual base salary based on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
