Opportunity

The Vice President, Global Customer Marketing will lead Adobe’s customer-focused marketing strategy, crafting how our customers discover, understand and engage with Adobe’s offerings, delivering growth across our customer audiences. This executive leader will define and deliver breakthrough marketing plans that span flagship campaigns, evergreen programs, and content innovation. The goal is to elevate Adobe’s brand and deepen customer connection. The role requires a visionary strategist and practical practitioner who inspires teams and drives outcomes while partnering across Adobe’s business units to accelerate impact at scale. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, the VP leads a team of Senior Directors and Directors who manage marketing teams for key customer groups.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect and deliver global marketing plans across Adobe’s portfolio with impactful campaigns, always‑on content, and tentpole activations to drive awareness, trial, adoption, usage, and long‑term retention.
  • Establish the vision and operating framework for Adobe’s global customer marketing team, translating company priorities into distinct decisions by customer group, product, and region.
  • Serve as a core business partner to product, regional, and channel leaders—co‑owning growth objectives and helping build roadmaps, positioning, and go‑to‑market plans.
  • Work across teams as Adobe’s “Customer Zero” to employ Adobe’s tools to deliver on‑brand creative and content that is personalized and at scale, providing feedback to innovate next‑generation AI‑driven marketing products.
  • Lead the team to build clear and compelling marketing plans tailored to customer groups with regional alignment, holding teams accountable for strategic, insights‑led plans covering the full funnel across regions and touchpoints.
  • Build a high‑performance culture within Customer Marketing that values ownership, experimentation, and high standards for craft and impact.
  • Use insight, experimentation, and performance metrics to build investments, optimize programs, and clearly demonstrate marketing’s contribution to the business.
  • Connect strategy to execution by working closely with product, channel, regional, and creative teams to turn market intelligence and customer insight into actionable plans.
  • Align cross‑functional teams around a shared strategy, clear roles, and disciplined execution across marketing activities.
  • Represent Customer Marketing in executive meetings, delivering alignment on priorities, trade‑offs, and the marketing roadmap across the company.
  • Manage investment and resources with rigor—partnering with Finance, Operations, and Agency Management to optimize spend, improve ROI, and scale what works.
  • Lead with a flexible approach and sharp judgment, inspiring teams as they navigate transformation and change.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • 18+ years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, go‑to‑market strategy, and cross‑channel management with a proven record of driving business impact at scale.
  • 8+ years of executive‑level people leadership, including developing senior leaders and leading cross‑functional teams.
  • Deep expertise in coordinated marketing, campaign orchestration, customer lifecycle management, and brand strategy across a global product portfolio.
  • Experience with marketing technology and AI‑driven tools that realize effective and efficient marketing activities.
  • Strategic and analytical approach, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Outstanding leadership presence, collaboration, and communication abilities, with the capacity to impact the highest levels inside and outside the organization.
  • Established track record functioning in complex, matrixed environments, promoting coordination across multiple business units and locations.
  • Experience managing large budgets and resource portfolios, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation.
  • Growth mindset, good judgment, and the ability to encourage teams through transformation and change.

Pay

U.S. pay range for this position: $183,000 – $480,000 annually. In California: $308,700 – $480,000. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
