Hotel Equities, one of the top hotel development and management companies in the industry, is currently searching for a highly driven and strategic Area Business Transient Sales Manager! Leading proactive sales efforts across a portfolio of 7+ hotels within premier coastal and metro markets in California.

You will play a critical role in positioning multiple properties for success by driving top-line revenue, strengthening corporate partnerships, and executing targeted sales strategies across well-known branded hotels.

  • Lead proactive business transient sales efforts across a portfolio of 7–8 hotels
  • Identify, solicit, and secure new corporate accounts while maintaining and growing existing relationships
  • Develop and execute market‑specific sales strategies to maximize occupancy and ADR
  • Conduct consistent outside sales calls, client meetings, and site visits
  • Collaborate with General Managers and on‑property sales leaders to align revenue goals and strategies
  • Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and account production to drive decision‑making
  • Manage RFP processes and negotiate corporate rate agreements
  • Representing the portfolio at industry events, networking functions, and client engagements

What You Bring

  • Proven success in hotel sales, specifically within the business transient segment
  • Experience supporting multiple properties (area or cluster role preferred)
  • Strong background with major hotel brands such as Marriott, Hilton, or comparable
  • Advanced proficiency in Delphi, FOSSE, PEP etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively prospect, close, and grow corporate accounts
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills
  • High level of organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities and properties simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel locally within the assigned market
