Role Summary
As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you support the world‑class CorePower Yoga studio experience by coordinating studio operations and holding the studio to the highest health and safety standards. You work alongside the Studio Manager to deliver results and sustained growth towards all current company and studio‑level goals.
Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience
Act as an ambassador of CorePower Yoga core values at all times and consistently inspire these values in others.
Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio‑level goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment.
Commit to a flexible schedule of 18‑29 hours per week in the studio to support operations coordination and teaching (if certified); responsibilities include health and safety protocol execution, front desk guidance, and team support.
Act as the point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is not present, up to 20 hours per week.
Maintain studio supply inventory so that all provisions and amenities (cleanliness inventory, locker room amenities, towels, programming materials, etc.) are available for students at all times.
Engage and know the studio community consistently; greet students by name, serve as an ambassador of yoga inside and outside the studio, and spend quality time at the front desk fostering community.
Support teachers in learning to use the POS and other pre/post‑class duties.
Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety and Cleanliness Protocol in the Studio
Uphold high standards for the studio; ensure the physical space meets CorePower Yoga cleanliness and functionality standards, including a safe environment, optimum heat and humidity, inspiring music, and a clean, clutter‑free surrounding.
Communicate Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and throughout their visit.
Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET) by cleaning the studio, stocking amenities, and ensuring the cleanliness protocol is always followed while on duty.
Interview SET applicants, hire SET employees, schedule shifts, step in for no‑call
o‑shows, train, and discipline or terminate SET employees who violate CorePower Yoga policies and standards.
Lead orientation for new SET members and train them on cleanliness protocol and role expectations.
Coordinate Studio Systems
Act as liaison between the Studio Manager and the teaching and SET teams for studio operational systems, including the POS, online reservation system, subbing application, HRIS, intranet, and payroll systems.
Support training and usage of these systems for teaching and SET teams.
Submit facility tickets through Help Desk and communicate follow‑up needs to the Studio Manager.
Teaching Schedule
Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of six CorePower Yoga classes per week and by subbing additional classes as needed.
Skills & Experience
Demonstrate CorePower Yoga core values and excellent oral communication, professionalism, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Experience in customer service.
Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200‑hour program is preferred.
Yoga Sculpt teacher training is preferred.
Familiarity and comfort with studio systems such as the HRIS, intranet, POS, scheduling and payroll systems.
Ability to build relationships with individuals of diverse personalities and at different levels of seniority.
Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines.
Proven self‑starter with enthusiasm for taking on new projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Excellent time‑management skills and ability to take initiative and prioritize.
College degree (BA/BS) preferred.
The Fine Print
Availability must match business needs and leadership schedules—morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday availability and flexibility are required.
Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
If certified to teach, must be able to step in to teach a class with little to no notice while scheduled in the studio.
Compensation
$25.00 per hour.
