Account Manager – Accelerated Sales Program
Responsibilities:
Participates in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn the White Cap business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills.
Prepares and executes account plans.
Sells White Cap value proposition and products.
Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers.
Enters and processes customer orders.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requires operation of a company vehicle or personal vehicle for more than 80% of the average work week; a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report will be run; must have an acceptable MVR report.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experience
Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team members
Strong self-governance, proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence
Competitive nature with a drive to succeed
Goal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics
Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities
Spanish language proficiency
