Job Profile & Objectives
The Part‑time Copywriter Contractor will be responsible for crafting, editing, and creating captivating digital content that aligns with Stanton Optical’s brand voice. Under the guidance of the Senior Copywriter, you will focus on producing engaging, optimized copy for digital platforms such as SEO, AEO, GEO‑targeted content, Google Ads, Emails, YouTube Ads, and more. The ideal candidate should be skilled at utilizing AI‑assisted tools to enhance efficiency while maintaining quality and brand integrity.

This role necessitates a profound understanding of digital copywriting best practices, exceptional proofreading skills, and adaptability to brand guidelines. Previous experience in the optical industry is a bonus.

Duties & Responsibilities

Create clear, engaging copy for various digital marketing channels, including:

Social media, email campaigns, and website content

Google Ads, PMax, YouTube Ads, and other paid media

SEO, AEO, and GEO‑targeted content for improved visibility

Edit and proofread marketing materials for accuracy and brand consistency.

Collaborate with the Senior Copywriter and other teams to execute impactful campaigns.

Conduct research to develop expertise or interview experts for necessary content.

Stay updated on digital marketing trends and tools to enhance copy performance.

Understand customer needs and create content that resonates with their lifestyles.

Participate in brainstorming sessions for creative campaign ideation.

Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Test and refine copy to optimize messaging for best results.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.

5+ years of digital copywriting experience, preferably in retail, healthcare, or similar industries.

Portfolio showcasing a range of digital copy, including SEO‑optimized content and social media campaigns.

Experience in the optical industry is a plus.

Skills & Requirements

Strong knowledge of digital copywriting best practices, including SEO, AEO, and GEO targeting.

Exceptional proofreading and editing skills with attention to detail.

Experience writing for Google Ads, YouTube Ads, and other paid media.

Ability to adapt to established brand voice across campaigns.

Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and project management tools like Asana is a plus.
