Multi-Skilled Photojournalist at Paramount+ Atlanta, GA

Multi‑Skilled Photojournalist – Paramount+, Atlanta, GA CBS Atlanta is building a brand‑new team and looking for highly skilled photojournalists. The role includes shooting and editing news stories, supporting newsroom operations across linear, digital, and streaming platforms. It also involves setting up live shots, using professional audio equipment, working independently or alongside anchors/reporters, and maintaining high journalistic standards in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Responsibilities Troubleshoot minor equipment problems in the field and monitor/perform basic vehicle maintenance.
Maintain a positive approach to problem‑solving to ensure success.
Work in a variety of environmental conditions depending on the news cycle and assignment.
Edit on the Grass Valley nonlinear edit system.
Produce a 2‑minute news package in 30 minutes or less.
Create and edit content for all social platforms creatively, to a high standard and with exceptional attention to detail.
Manage and ingest media efficiently.
Willingness to work holidays, nights, weekends, and travel on short notice.
Production of NAT packages is a plus.
Qualifications B.A. degree in a related field is preferred.
Three to five years of photography/editing experience in a major market is required.
Extensive knowledge of the Atlanta area is preferred.
Three to five years of experience operating an ENG live van.
Ability to edit all nonlinear systems with broadcast‑quality standards.
Satellite uplink truck experience is a plus.
Maintain a driver's license in good standing.
Physical Demands Carry and set up ENG equipment often weighing 50 lbs.
Drive news vehicles to story locations and edit footage in confined areas/space.
