UI Designer: II (Intermediate)

Job Description
A Robert Half client in Grand Rapids, MI is offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a UI Designer: II (Intermediate). As a UI Designer, you will be part of a large team focusing on improving user experience. This role involves designing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces, translating complex requirements into user-friendly designs, and working collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop high-fidelity visual designs, wireframes, and prototypes for the platform.

Create and iterate on user flows, screen layouts, and interactive elements to ensure a seamless user experience.

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective design solutions.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews, presenting your work and incorporating feedback from team members.

Ensure designs are accurately implemented and meet quality standards by working closely with developers.

Communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Contribute to the evolution of our design system, ensuring consistency across the platform.

Adhere to design standards and best practices while pushing for innovation and creativity.

Qualifications

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and strategies to stakeholders.

Demonstrable understanding of brand awareness and its importance in UI design.

Proven experience in the implementation of design strategies and concepts.

Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals and business objectives.

Deep understanding and application of best practices in UI design and visual design.

Proficient in creating UI design concepts and translating them into interactive prototypes.

Strong knowledge of UX design and its importance in creating intuitive user interfaces.

Ability to translate business objectives into effective and innovative UI designs.

Demonstrable creativity and innovation in problem-solving and design approach.

Proven experience in creating wireframes, user flows, and other design documents.

Strong ability to maintain quality standards in all design outputs.

Experience in brainstorming and developing new design concepts and strategies.

Proficient in creating intuitive and interactive user interfaces.

Proficient in using various UI design tools and software.

Strong ability to understand and apply design concepts effectively.
