- Responsible for directing activities and establishing guidelines and controls for the Houston facility.
- Support and promote continuous improvement of performance standards by supporting the Management Team’s initiatives that help drive change.
- Support and enforce HSE standards and a commitment to compliance.
- Manage the plant’s production units.
- Provide leadership and fill in for Production Supervisor.
- Contribute to Turnarounds, shutdowns and maintenance planning.
- Ensure the maintenance and recordkeeping of Process Safety Management documentation.
- Manage fixed costs in area of responsibility.
- Maximize burning rate and unit efficiency.
- Support company’s the HSE program by utilizing KPIs, performance standards, Stop Work Policy, Zero Tolerance, and HSE Excellence.
- Ensure regulatory requirements are met for all production and operations teams.
- Ability to work additional hours to accomplish objectives and ensure high performance of the plant.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in chemical engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7-10 years of continuous chemical plat experience, (union experience a plus)
- Requires strong leadership and management skills.
- Production knowledge required.
- Must be able to troubleshoot problems in a production/operations environment.
