Job Overview

Condé Nast is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to lead digital product initiatives for GQ and Pitchfork.

Location: New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for GQ and Pitchfork's digital experiences, including web and emerging technologies.
  • Develop deep, specific product perspectives that protect each brand's irreplaceable identity while innovating new digital territories.
  • Manage the experimentation program: design, run, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests across the full digital experience.
  • Define and monitor metrics such as engagement depth, retention, conversion, content interaction, and brand‑specific KPIs.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines; set up dashboards and interpret analytics results.
  • Prototype low‑ and high‑fidelity concepts, leveraging AI tools to prototype advanced experiences.
  • Partner with editorial teams to translate creative vision into product features that feel native to each brand.
  • Prioritize the product backlog for 0–9 month horizon, balancing near‑term delivery with long‑term bets.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams across editorial, design, engineering, and project management to ship impactful features.
  • Define and refine OKRs, manage Agile ceremonies, and maintain all product documentation.
  • Communicate strategy, updates, and blockers to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the roadmap.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of product management experience in digital media, publishing, or consumer‑facing products.
  • Genuine fan of GQ and Pitchfork, with strong opinions about their distinct voices and audiences.
  • Experience owning an A/B testing program and interpreting data to drive decisions.
  • Strong product analytics skills, comfortable with data tracking tools, funnel, cohort analysis, and instrumentation.
  • Prototyping instinct: ability to move quickly from concept to prototype using tools like Figma, no‑code, or AI.
  • AI‑native orientation: daily use of AI, experience shipping AI‑powered features, and treating AI as a core capability.
  • Background in men’s lifestyle, fashion, culture, or music products, understanding what excellence looks like.
  • Editorial partnership experience: earning trust with editors and building products that feel editorially authentic.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple brands or product areas simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable working across time zones and functions.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

Salary

Base salary range: $150,000 – $185,000.
