Senior Sales Director, Labor

We are seeking an experienced sales leader to spearhead Maven's expansion into the Taft‑Hartley market, generating pipeline, building relationships with key labor stakeholders, and closing complex multi‑employer deals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Taft‑Hartley market, owning pipeline generation, deal progression, and bookings targets.
  • Build and deepen relationships with key labor stakeholders—fund administrators, union trustees, benefits consultants, and brokers—acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate closely with Client Success, Marketing, and Product to surface market feedback, support RFP/RFI responses, refine positioning, and ensure seamless handoffs from sale to implementation.
  • Represent Maven at key labor industry conferences, trade shows, and fund events to build brand awareness and source new opportunities.
  • Be a thought leader and champion for the labor market internally, sharing intelligence from the field to sharpen the value proposition and go‑to‑market approach.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in labor healthcare sales or consulting, with a track record of closing large, complex contracts and consistently exceeding quota.
  • Deep subject‑matter expertise in the Taft‑Hartley market—including fund operations, collective bargaining strategy, trustee decision making, and ERISA—and a strong existing network.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, able to tailor complex clinical and financial narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Growth mindset and entrepreneurial drive, comfortable with ambiguity and extensive travel (~50%).
  • Comfortable with data and analytics, able to discuss performance metrics and financial models fluently at all levels.

Compensation

The OTE salary range is $330,000–$400,000 per year, plus equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions depend on qualifications and experience.

Work Location and Travel

Open to candidates based in the New York Metropolitan area or remote across the U.S. Candidates in the New York City office are encouraged to work onsite three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
