The Role As the Area Director of Sales, you lead the sales strategy and execution for both the Hilton Garden Inn and Residence Inn located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. You oversee all sales efforts, develop and mentor hotel sales teams, and drive revenue performance across all segments, including corporate, group, and extended stay. You play a key role in positioning both properties competitively within the market while maximizing profitability.
What You Will Be Doing Oversee and lead all sales and revenue‑generating efforts for both hotel properties
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
Lead, mentor, and support onsite sales teams to drive performance and accountability
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, group, and local markets
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, accounts, and community partners
Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, forecasting, and inventory strategies
Conduct regular sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and performance tracking
Analyze market trends, competitive data, and demand patterns to adjust strategies as needed
Represent both properties in networking events, trade shows, and sales missions
Ensure adherence to brand standards and sales processes for Hilton Garden Inn and Residence Inn
Partner closely with General Managers and regional leadership to align overall business strategy
Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and service excellence

What Makes You You Previous hotel Director of Sales or senior sales leadership experience required
Experience overseeing multiple properties strongly preferred
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and revenue goals
Strong knowledge of hotel sales segments including corporate, group, and extended stay
Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Organized and able to manage multiple priorities across properties
Proficient in hotel systems and sales reporting tools (e.g., Delphi, OnQ, etc.)
Valid driver’s license required
Flexible to work as needed, including occasional evenings, weekends, and travel
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive to customer appointments
