Our client, a leading brand licensing fashion firm, is seeking a VP of Marketing. Must have experience leading a brand with a similar business model. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of global marketing and PR strategies, driving elevated and compelling brand storytelling across all consumer touchpoints. This role oversees the end-to-end execution of brand strategy, including seasonal campaigns, product launches, collaborations, and integrated awareness initiatives spanning PR, VIP relations, partnerships, events, athlete and influencer programs, and retail marketing. This leader will ensure alignment across global and regional teams, strengthening brand equity and consumer engagement while supporting the continued growth of their business worldwide. This is an in-office environment 5 days in Manhattan.

Salary range: $200-240,000 based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global go-to-market strategies for annual, seasonal, and capsule product launches, ensuring seamless delivery of assets, tools, and messaging across all channels and partners.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between marketing and cross-functional teams, driving alignment with brand and category objectives while identifying opportunities to enhance performance.
  • Develop and communicate integrated marketing strategies to internal stakeholders, external agencies, and partners, including campaign messaging, eCommerce storytelling, PR initiatives, and media plans.
  • Oversee global PR and influencer strategies, including agency management, talent partnerships, product seeding, and relationship development to maximize brand visibility and cultural relevance.
  • Partner with digital and social teams to create impactful content strategies, leveraging authentic storytelling and talent collaborations to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.
  • Identify, negotiate, and lead collaboration programs, partnerships, sponsorships, and events that strengthen brand positioning and expand reach.
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance and ROI, leveraging insights across impressions, engagement, traffic, and sales to inform future strategies.
  • Collaborate with creative teams on campaign development, including concept ideation, photoshoots, production, budgeting, and global asset distribution.
  • Act as the primary marketing lead for licensees, ensuring streamlined communication, alignment, and execution of brand standards across all activations.
  • Partner with internal marketing and category teams to ensure all product lines are supported by cohesive, insight‑driven marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with eCommerce teams to optimize site experience, content strategy, and digital merchandising to enhance brand expression and conversion performance.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Design, Merchandising, Planning, Licensees, Retail Operations, and global franchise teams to ensure consistent and effective execution of brand initiatives.
  • Lead performance reporting and marketing analytics, driving continuous improvement in effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Provide strategic marketing leadership across additional brands within the firm.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in global brand marketing with a licensed brands environment with a proven track record of leading integrated campaigns at scale.
  • Strong expertise in eCommerce marketing, digital strategy, and omnichannel retail environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing PR, influencer, and celebrity partnerships on a global level.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute high‑impact collaborations and partnership programs.
  • Experience working across global teams, external agencies, and licensee networks.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience within workwear, lifestyle, or global apparel brands strongly preferred.
