Job Description
The Director, Digital Investment will be responsible for leading the digital planning and overseeing all aspects of implementation. They will learn and embody Zenith’s vision of Live ROI as a mantra and manage several direct reports.
The Director, Digital Investment will lead digital media strategy, serving as a client partner and strategic leader across the account. This role will lead media planning, activation, reporting insights, and innovation while managing other team members driving collaboration across clients, agency partners, and media vendors. The ideal candidate combines deep digital expertise, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering best-in-class media solutions for luxury global brands.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of digital media strategies and investment recommendations across all digital channels, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and luxury brand positioning.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day digital investment lead and strategic partner for client stakeholders.
- Oversee campaign planning, activation, optimization, and performance analysis to ensure successful delivery against KPIs.
- Translate data and campaign performance into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with Commerce, Search, Social, Programmatic, and Partnerships teams to develop integrated, audience-first media plans.
- Develop and present compelling media recommendations, performance recaps, thought leadership, and innovation opportunities to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners, evaluating emerging opportunities, partnerships, and marketplace trends.
- Ensure financial stewardship across digital investments, including oversight of billing accuracy, reconciliations, vendor management, and forecasting.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Champion innovation by identifying new media opportunities, technologies, measurement approaches, and consumer engagement strategies relevant to luxury audiences.
- Develop strategic POVs on marketplace developments, media trends, and opportunities that drive client growth.
Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Advertising or related field highly preferred
- 8+ years of digital media buying experience
- Demonstrated experience leading integrated digital media strategies for national or global brands.
- Strong client leadership experience, including presenting recommendations and performance insights to senior stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of the digital media ecosystem, including Programmatic, Paid Social, Search, Online Video, Retail Media, Partnerships, and Measurement.
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify insights, and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
- Strong financial management experience, including budget oversight, billing reconciliation, and investment stewardship.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including pivot tables, v lookups, financial analysis, and executive-level presentations.
- Experience with Prisma and industry research platforms such as Nielsen, Comscore, MRI-Simmons, or similar tools preferred.
- Luxury, premium, or high-consideration brand experience strongly preferred.
- Content partnership and custom media program experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.

Compensation Range: $119,510- $169,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
